Tank for 500 Gallon Propane
Hot water heaters and central heating systems work best with a 500 gallon propane tank. 500-gallon propane tanks are commonly utilized for pool heating, generators, whole-house systems, and home heating. Commercial uses for propane tanks include dry cleaning, cooking, heating, and crop drying. The tank is approximately 9′ 10″ long and 3′ 11 1/2″ height. The majority of 2,500–4,500 square foot homes are suitable for a 500 gallon propane tank. The metered systems intended for communities will be selected from this smallest tank size. This is an excellent tank. We purchased the underground model in 2014 to be delivered to Tucson, AZ from PA and received it via UPS Freight in less than a week! Buy your own 500 gallon propane tank from Kleen-Rite and save! You’ll benefit from a better propane price per gallon when you own your own tank, plus propane is typically less expensive than gas.
You may save with an above-ground propane tank available for purchase.
Qualities:
Class 150 ASME certified, which implies that it is not portable once installed.
Above-ground storage tank
Notes: The tank needs to be filled for the first time by a local propane provider as it is still under manufacturer vacuum seal.
In order to breach the suction seal, the propane supply must first fill the POL valve with methanol. The ACME fill valve can then be used to fill it.
