Hot water heaters and central heating systems work best with a 500 gallon propane tank. 500-gallon propane tanks are commonly utilized for pool heating, generators, whole-house systems, and home heating. Commercial uses for  propane tanks include dry cleaning, cooking, heating, and crop drying. The tank is approximately 9′ 10″ long and 3′ 11 1/2″ height. The majority of 2,500–4,500 square foot homes are suitable for a 500 gallon propane tank. The metered systems intended for communities will be selected from this smallest tank size.  This is an excellent tank. Notes: The tank needs to be filled for the first time by a local propane provider as it is still under manufacturer vacuum seal.
In order to breach the suction seal, the propane supply must first fill the POL valve with methanol. The ACME fill valve can then be used to fill it.
